Kundalini Yoga

The word Kundalini means a lock of hair, of the beloved.  The ancients believed that the Kundalini energy lay dormant at the base of the spine until awakened. This coiled potential represents the feminine aspect of the divine, also called Shakti energy and it exists within us all.

 

A mind-body-spirit practice of Kundalini Yoga gently stirs the sleeping Kundalini energy and invites it to flow up from the base of the spine, along the chakras, to the top of the head. At the crown centre, the feminine aspect is united with Shiva, the masculine aspect of the divine.  When our feminine energy merges with our masculine energy we experience a beautiful balance within all our chakras and our 10 light bodies.

 

Join Yoga Goddess to breathe, move, meditate and experience a world of energy inside you. Using the ancient techniques of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, you'll become aware of your chakras and your body's own healing abilities.  Our classes are perfect for beginners to yoga (and meditation) because you'll learn how to connect the mind and body using your breath. 

 

All classes include: Tuning into your higher self, yoga to release tension, stress and energy blocks, deep, guided relaxation and healing meditation.

 

Explore our signature Yoga Goddess class series' especially for women's health and spiritual balance and let your intuition guide you to the one that feels just right.

Not sure when you'll be free? If your schedule makes it too difficult to book a series of classes, drop in to our new Yoga + Meditation offerings.

 

Drop-in on Sunday mornings at Embody Fitness in Forest Hill, Toronto and after clas enjoy complimenary use of the club facilities. It's a beautiful way to start your day, whenever you're able. Your first week of classes are free. And these classes are open to men too!
