Speak to Your Soul on All Hallows Eve
October 31 marks the beginning of our descent into the dark of winter. On this day, we celebrate the gifts we have manifested over the past year and offer thanks for our good fortune.
The goddess Hecate reminds us of the importance of change. She helps us to release the past, to let go of those things that hinder our growth, and to accept transitions. She sometimes asks us to let go of what is familiar, safe, and secure and to embrace our soul's highest purpose. This may come in the form of new possibilities, ideas and opportunities. It is the whisper of change.
Tonight the "veil between the worlds" is thinnest, making it easier to communicate with your soul. Tune in, trust and believe that when some thing leaves some thing even better will arrive.
Call the energy of this night forward and reflect on what you are ready to let go of: Are there behaviors, beliefs, relationships or material possessions that you have outgrown and no longer "fit" you? Believe that you can release these old forms, making room for new and increasing inspiration, love and light.
Like the seasons of the earth, we continuously experience endings and beginnings. Meditate on the eternal cycle of creation in your own life: birth, life, death, transition and rebirth. Before the darkness descends, determine what you will release into the night so it may be transformed into the light of new life.
Blessed be.
