Tuning in and Connecting with Yourself

 

Take a moment right now to slow down. Bring your focus inward, and think of nothing else but breathing in and out. Extend your inhale for 6 seconds and extend your exhale for 6 seconds. Practicing this technique for 3 minutes every day will give you the beginnings of a meditative mind.

 

Yoga is much more than an exercise regime. In fact, spending a few minutes focussing on your breath is yoga. If you can breathe, you can do yoga. In a practice of 10-body yoga, you will experience the merging of your individual consciousness with the universal consciousness through a combination of breath, movement, mental focus and sound.

 

From the 10-body yoga perspective a person is made up of the physical body, the mental bodies (negative, positive and neutral), the soul body as well as 5 ethereal aspects of the self. Come and experience this expanded vision of yourself with yoga-goddess in October.
